Two year olds say the funniest things

In case you haven't seen Sam in a while, he is turning out to be a sweet little kid with a great sense of humor. Yesterday Anna was asking him about boys and girls: Sam is Maria a boy of a girl?
Sam: Durl (girl).
Anna: Are you a boy or a girl?
Sam: Boy.
Anna: is Josh a boy or girl?
Sam: Boy.
Is Mommy a boy or a girl?
Sam (with a big grin): You're silly, you're a mommy.
Anna: is Dad a boy or a girl?
Sam (with a big smile): You're teasing, he's a daddy.

The more our children talk the more I am amazed at them. Last night Aiden had a tough time going to bed and when I asked what was wrong he put his hand on his forehead and said, "I feel terrible" in his little 3yr old voice. Great post, hearing things kids say I think, keeps us close to childhood and close to God.
